1) Is Dr. Barberee taking new patients?Yes, we're always happy to see new patients at our office. We're eager to help with anything from regular check-ups to emergency services. Whatever your needs may be, we can help and usually without having to wait weeks for an appointment. 2) Do you treat children?Yes, we do. We enjoy seeing them and we're particularly good at making their visits enjoyable. We generally recommend that their first visit be some time soon after they can sit for about 15 minutes. The goal of this visit is simply to ease any anxiety. If we get to clean and or polish that's a bonus! 3) What forms of payment do you accept? We accept checks, cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, or CareCredit. 4) Do you have any payment plans?Yes! A 5% discount is available for up front cash and check payments over $500.00. Sorry, this does not apply to credit card payments. You can also apply for 12 month interest free financing of your treatment by clicking the following link, CareCredit. 5) How much will my insurance pay?It might pay something. There's just no great answer to your question because plans are so variable. If you can provide us with your insurance information, we can give you a very good idea whether or not there will be a benefit and how much it might be. For more information please read Dr. Barberee's article about insurance. 6) Can I just get my teeth cleaned?Absolutely! We're always happy to accommodate your wishes, but Texas law does require a current examination (within 12 months) to allow treatment. Your records from your previous dentist can easily meet this requirement. Otherwise, a simple exam is required by law. 7) Do you do braces? No. Orthodontics(braces) is a specialty of dentistry that we feel is best left to the specialist. We can certainly diagnose the need for braces and get you in touch with one of our local orthodontists who are gifted in their area of specialty. 8) How do I contact the company? Please feel free to contact us with your questions, comments, or suggestions.
